Rail Park Call for Participation

The Friends of the Rail Park invites you to participate in a multi-neighborhood living archive !

The vision for the Rail Park extends 3 miles, passing through 10+ Philadelphia neighborhoods, each with a unique identity. Friends of the Rail Park, the non-profit organization that stewards the programming and planning for the Rail Park, is embarking on the development of a living archive that is part time-capsule, part map, and part vision board. This submission-based community archive will highlight what community members value the most about their neighborhood, in the form of images, objects, and oral histories connected to the physical space.

A large portion of these submissions will come from in-person events and activations at the Rail Park. Visit therailpark.org to learn about events. There is also a digital questionnaire: https://forms.gle/MokpwLAQx12ktgC6A

For questions or more information on this project please contact Friends of the Rail Park teammate Zoë at zoe@therailpark.org.
